Halloween Candy Fudge

Hello hello! It’s November! Can you believe it? I can’t. Time has been flying this fall. I’m getting so excited for all of the upcoming holiday season baking, though. I have tons of recipes pinned and saved for Thanksgiving and Christmas… I’m just itching to get in the kitchen for a nice, long weekend of sweet-making.

Today’s recipe will help you bid farewell to Halloween and use up all of that leftover Halloween candy lying around. This Halloween Candy fudge can be made with any assorted chocolates of your choice or just one candy like I did. I used all Reese’s peanut butter cups (because this batch was for my boyfriend, and they’re his favorite).

This base chocolate fudge recipe is really simple, and tossing in chopped up candy takes two seconds. Seriously, if you’re having chocolate cravings, this recipe can be whipped up super quickly and easily. Even if you’ve never ventured into the world of candy making before, give it a try!

I’m already planning to make a big batch of this fudge around the holidays as a perfect little gift for friends and family. It’s really easy to double or triple the recipe… and believe me, everyone will be begging for more!

So say goodbye to all of that pesky candy lying around and transform it into this decadent, divine, and altogether dreamy fudge.

Halloween Candy Fudge

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 2 hours of setting time

Yield: One 8-by-8 inch pan

  • 20 Reese’s peanut butter cups, or an equivalent amount of assorted Halloween candy
  • 2 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)

To bake

  1. Line an 8-by-8 pan smoothly with tinfoil, then spray with cooking spray. Place 12 peanut butter cups or candies in an even layer across the bottom of the pan.
  2. In a medium pan over medium heat, melt together the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk, stirring until smooth and incorporated.
  3. Pour and spread the melted mixture evenly on top of the candies in your pan. With the additional peanut butter cups or candies, chop them into bite-sized pieces and gently press them into the fudge.
  4. Allow the fudge to cool to room temperature for about 20 minutes, then refrigerate for at least another hour and a half before enjoying.
